In the two Telugu-speaking states, it's a common practice for filmmakers to request the governments to raise ticket rates and arrange additional screenings during the initial week for movies with a smaller scale. Initially, there were some issues in Andhra Pradesh, but most films now receive permissions smoothly. However, for Power Star Pawan Kalyan's movie 'Bro', the producers refrained from seeking increased rates, possibly due to Pawan's association with the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh.

The government has been observed creating difficulties for heroes, directors, and producers not aligned with their interests. For instance, Prabhas' film 'Radhesyam' faced certain challenges, whereas 'Adipurush' didn't encounter any such issues.

Typically, efforts are made during the release week itself to secure extra shows and rates. However, in the case of Prabhas' upcoming film 'Salar', the producers and distributors have taken proactive measures. They applied a month in advance, requesting the government to permit five shows and to allow an increase in ticket prices by 50 to 75 rupees.

This proactive approach suggests a smoother process without last-minute rushes during the release. Early initiation of advance bookings is recommended, ideally with finalized rates. It's anticipated that permissions will be granted in the coming days, and the bookings will commence ten days prior to the release.
