Superstar Came To Sets Very Late, Director Gone Case

Generally, a few superstars come with their own set of tantrums, which are to be acknowledged and navigated by directors and producers. But here is the case of Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan who used to allegedly come to the sets late at night and did not follow standard protocol.

Director AR Murugadoss, who had recently worked with Salman Khan for Sikandar revealed that this star heroes used to come to the sets after 9 in the night.

“The hero used to constantly delay the shooting by coming late. We had to shoot the daylight portion of the film at around eight or nine in the night. Salman used to be always late. In order to match the daylight portion, we had to use green mats and extensive CGI. A big chunk of the film was shot with dupes as well.” Murugadoss revealed.

It was further revealed that there was a certain portion in the film that was supposed to be shot with children but due to the unavailability of Salman, these scenes were shot at 2 or 3 in the morning. By then, all the child actors used to be tired, and the essence of the scene was gone.

The senior director gave the implication that Salman Khan was not professional on the sets and attributed the failure of this film partly to this reason.

It must be noted that Sikander is one of the biggest box of disasters in recent times. It appears that Murugadoss also did not have a good time shooting for this film for obvious reasons stated above.
