Star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has faced a huge setback both on the personal front as well as on the professional front. Her movies failed badly while she got diagnosed by myositis. She took a lot of medication and treatment both in India as well as abroad. After becoming active again on social media in recent times, Samantha talked about the most difficult time she faced and it is not 2023.

In her podcast, she said, "I remember specifically the year before I had this problem, it was an extremely difficult year for me. I specifically remember the day that I think my friend/partner/manager Himank, and I were traveling back from Mumbai. And this was in June of the year before last, and I remember telling him that finally I feel calm. I haven't felt a little relaxed and a little calm in a very, very long time. And I finally feel like I can breathe and I can go to sleep, and I can now wake up and focus on my work and be the best that I can be at work. And I woke up with this condition."

She revealed, "The reason I wanted to do this podcast was because after the experience, the harrowing experience that I've been through and well, an autoimmune condition is lifelong, so with what I'm dealing with right now as well, I'd rather want people to be safe than sorry."

Her health podcast 'Take 20' is getting a good response. She arrived with 'Shaakunthalam' and 'Khushi' last year. Samantha is currently awaiting the result of her second web series 'Citadel: India' made by Raj & DK. Varun Dhawan is playing the male lead and she is looking at other scripts as well. Fans are eager to see her back on the big screen again. Let us wait and see how her career turns out in the coming days.
