Samantha Frustrated About Pay Disparity, But

For a long time, now, there have been several discussions in the Indian film industry about how actors and actresses must be getting equal pay. Several actresses have been openly commenting on this aspect as they are pushing for equal remuneration for heroes and heroines in mainstream films.

The same was implied by Samantha as well while she interacted with the Media and she called for equal pay for men and women in the film industry. She pointed out that men and women work equally hard on a film, and it is only right that they get equal pay.

Noted that actors and actresses put the same kind of efforts and deliver similar output, but the kind of disparity that is exhibited in their remuneration is huge.

However, this brings us to the age or discussion about the kind of remuneration that is paid for actors and actresses at an individual capacity.

Bollywood star Aamir Khan had previously pointed out that the remuneration and financial package for a hero and heroine will obviously depend on the kind of revenues that they can generate in theatres.

Heroine can bring bigger theatrical Honey than a hero, then she is obviously paid more than the Hero. It is the theatrical market that decides the kind of immigration that is paid, but not the gender. This point comes to a perfect implication now in this context.

It is indeed fact that Samantha might be earning more than what a few young Telugu heroes might be earning, and this is an acceptable fact as well. This is exactly how the film industry operates, and we have to come to terms with it, no matter what.
