Raj Nidimoru Addresses Samantha’s Future In Family Man

Samantha Ruth Prabhu made a strong impact in Family Man 2 with her intense, villainous role. Even though her character’s story ended in an aeroplane crash, fans kept guessing that she might somehow return for Family Man 3. All the speculation finally settled when director Raj Nidimoru spoke openly about her character and the thought process behind it.

He explained that both Samantha and Nimrat Kaur were chosen with clear intention. According to him, their characters were never written casually. Raj said he never looks at a role as male or female. What matters to him is how honestly the actor brings the character to life. He added that many roles in the series could have easily been played by men, but he never approached the writing with that mindset. For him, the performance is what gives the character meaning, and both Samantha and Nimrat delivered exactly what the story needed.

Raj also shared that Family Man 3, arriving on November 21 on Amazon Prime Video, has been made like a set of small feature films. Each episode was shot across different locations, giving it a bigger scale and a fresh energy. The team treated every episode as a full movie, which, according to him, makes this season feel much larger than before.

Meanwhile, Samantha is busy shooting for Maa Inti Bangaram with director Nandini Reddy. On the personal side, a rumour is floating around that Samantha and Raj Nidimoru might get married next year, though nothing about it seems real.
