Samantha To Spend Her 'Profits' Meaningfully
Well, many actors try to make movies after they get profit from a film, but then, if they choose the wrong scripts, surely all that effort will go down the drain.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 30 Jun 2026 5:43 PM ISTWhen Samantha’s “Maa Inti Bangaram” got delayed, shooting times were extended, and release dates changed; many wondered about the film. Even the senior starlet got worried and felt a sigh of relief when they had sold the total digital rights of the film, recovering their investment so far. However, they didn’t expect that they would see almost ₹40 crore in bonuses from the theatrical market.
Maa Inti Bangaram has outdone all expectations and has made more than ₹75 crores gross already in the Telugu states, which means Samantha, along with her husband Raj Nidimoru, pocketed nearly ₹40 crores ‘share’ from it. And now, the actress is considering making 3-4 short films over the next couple of years while she takes a maternity break. Currently settled in Mumbai, Samantha wants to listen to scripts, finalise things and make another interesting film like Shubam and Maa Inti Bangaram.
Well, many actors try to make movies after they get profit from a film, but then, if they choose the wrong scripts, surely all that effort will go down the drain. Also, for Samantha’s production house, Subham movie hasn’t brought any profits, but Maa Inti Bangaram did, because it has her own presence as the leading lady. So, the actress should also think about that before taking any calls, so that she would spend her profits from Maa Inti Bangaram meaningfully.
