Samantha Did It For Obligation, Not Necessity!

Samantha is one of the most popular actresses in Telugu cinema and the kind of box office potential that she has is beyond ordinary if we compare it with other actresses in the industry. On that note, Samantha had her latest Telugu release in the form of Shubham, which released in theatres last weekend.

The interesting thing about this film is that Samantha did not just produce it, but also played a significant role in the same and here is what she had to say about this topic.

Samantha stated that she was not supposed to play the role in the film in the first place, but she had to do it more out of obligation, necessity. The actress revealed that she was not originally intended to play the role that she eventually ended up playing in this film.

“This is my first production, and I had depending on it, which is naturally the case with anyone as well. But the thing is that I did not want to pressure anyone into doing this role just because I am producing the film. That is the reason why I myself played the character and took up the responsibility of the promotion of this film to the deeper markets” Samantha stated while interacting with the media.
