By: Shanaz B Syed | 17 Oct 2025 9:00 PM ISTThe film world feels like a big, unpredictable ocean, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of those lighthouses you can’t miss. From her debut in Ye Maya Chesave, she’s carved her own space in Telugu and Tamil cinema. She’s not just a pretty face, she brings energy, charm, and realness to every role. Fans notice it. Her performances have a spark that makes you remember them long after the credits roll.
Things haven’t always been smooth. After her divorce from Naga Chaitanya, Samantha had her share of rough days. Then came myositis, a rare disease that made her step away from films for a year to focus on health. But she bounced back. And now she’s taking a bold step, she started her own production company, Tralala Moving Pictures. Her first film, Shubham, with young actors like Harshit Malgireddy and Shriya Kontham, has been successfully outcut. And she is busy with her second production with Santosh Shoban.
Samantha talks often about Gautham Vasudev Menon, who gave her the break in Ye Maya Chesave. “If he hadn’t taken risks, I wouldn’t be here today,” she said. Inspired by him, she now wants to do the same for others. When asked why she became a producer, she laughed, “I’m a bit crazy… crazy about films!” She wants to give young talent a chance, maybe even watch them grow into stars the way she did.
Samantha did a cameo in Shubham, but her next project, Maa Inti Bangaram, is set to start shooting next month. Fans are excited to see her shift from actress to producer. With her experience and energy, she’s ready to make things happen behind the camera too. Samantha is back, shining, and this time, helping others find their spotlight as well.
