In under 12 hours from now, the paid premiers for Pushpa 2 will be commencing in the Telugu states. Ahead of the big day, let us have a look at the internal prospects of Pushpa 2 pertaining to the music directors involved.

While Devi Sri Prasad is the conventional music composer for the film in principal, the makers had also on boarded a few other music directors to complete the job. The likes of SS Thaman Ajaneesh Loknath and Sam CS were on boarded to compose the background music for the film.

Essentially, Devi Sri Prasad was the one, who composed this songs and the majority of the soundtrack. The decision to go for the other mentioned music directors is to possibly bring some variation for the background score of certain scenes in the film.

The latest news that we are hearing is that the Final copy of the film has been prepared, and it has the musical contributions of only Devi Sri Prasad and Sam CS. Director Sukumar has approved the versions delivered by these two music composers, and he has turned down the works provided by Thaman and Ajaneesh.

As things stand, Pushpa 2 will have the majority of the soundtrack and songs composed by DSP while a brief portion of the background score, particularly the Jathara portion is done by Sam.

It is very interesting to note that SS Thaman, who is regarded as the master of background score could not satisfy the musical cravings of Sukumar. Perhaps the contrasting styles of DSP and Thaman were blending well for the film, and this was a conscious choice by Sukumar and the chief men involved.

As for Ajaneesh, he delivered blockbuster soundtrack for Mangalavaaram, but he appears to have stuttered with Pushpa 2, which is only natural for a young composer. All the musical credits for this film will be given to DSP and Sam CS.
