New Heroine Joins Surya-Venky Atluri Film Buzz!

Even before the dust settles from Kanguva’s box office disappointment, Suriya is already moving full steam ahead. With his retro-themed film Retro hitting screens on May 1 alongside Pooja Hegde, all eyes are now on his next project and the heroine chatter is only heating up.

Suriya is teaming up with Telugu director Venky Atluri for a film backed by Sithara Entertainments, and buzz around the female leads is growing louder. While reports suggest the film will feature two heroines, the latest scoop points toward Samyuktha Menon stepping into one of the roles. She has already delivered back-to-back hits like Bheemla Nayak and Sir with the same production house and if this clicks, it would mark a hat-trick collaboration for her.

Another name doing the rounds is Bhagyashri Borse, although nothing has been officially confirmed yet. With the film in its pre-production phase, sources say the casting will be locked in soon, and shooting could begin anytime. This project is shaping up to be a crucial one for both Suriya and the team after recent box office setbacks.

Meanwhile, Suriya fans can also look forward to Vadivasal, his ambitious project with acclaimed director Vetrimaaran. The shoot for that film is set to begin in July, with music maestro G.V. Prakash already wrapping up a track. Clearly, Suriya isn’t slowing down and his lineup is only getting more interesting by the day.
