Most Controversial Film: Too Much Drama Already
In this context, Tamil Bigg Boss S4 participant Sanam Shetty made an interesting remark.
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 Feb 2025 11:24 AMUsually, we get to see films, creating controversies, and becoming topics of discussion after the release. But for a change, a Tamil film has become a controversy even before the release as the teaser itself managed to spark multiple discussions.
The film in question here is titled Bad Girl and it is produced by Vetrimaaran. This film managed to grab the eyeballs and became the focal point of many discussions just with the teaser as it drew criticism that this film is a satire against the Upper Castes in the Tamil society.
In this context, Tamil Bigg Boss S4 participant Sanam Shetty made an interesting remark. She pointed out that she watched the teaser of the film and was absolutely shaken up by the kind of dismal content that was nurtured. She said veteran personalities like Vetrimaran producing this film does not make any logical sense as such work is not expected from them.
The implication here was very clear that the attempt from the makers to take a dig at the upper caste, female section did not impress actress Sanam Shetty. She evidently had a strong opinion against the film and did not mince words, even while speaking about veteran Tamil personalities like Vetrimaran. Her comments are now going viral and they are setting a separate discourse on their own.
Bad Girl is essentially a tale about a Brahmin girl who gets addicted to bad habits and finds herself in trouble for the same. A few say this film rightly reflects the current situation in the Tamil Nadu state and others say this is a propaganda film against the Upper Caste system in the state.
