Go Watch Ranabaali: Sandeep Reddy Vanga praises Vijay Deverakonda

Vijay Deverakonda’s performance in Ranabaali has received a notable endorsement from filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who took to social media to encourage audiences to watch the film. Starring Vijay alongside Rashmika Mandanna, the historical drama has attracted attention for its performances and its exploration of a lesser-known chapter of history.

Expressing his admiration, Sandeep wrote, “Guys... go watch RANABAALI for Deverakonda Vijay Sai’s outstanding character portrayal.” The direct recommendation places Vijay’s performance at the heart of his response, highlighting the impact of the actor’s characterisation and the intensity he brings to the film.

Beyond Vijay’s performance, Sandeep singled out Rashmika Mandanna’s portrayal of Jayamma. His words, “Some connections transcend the screen. Rashmika’s Jayamma felt so achingly real,” underline his appreciation for the emotional connection between the lead characters and the realism of Rashmika’s performance. He also praised Ajay–Atul’s music, describing it as a major highlight.

Sandeep’s support extends to director Rahul Sankrityan’s approach to the subject. Appreciating the filmmaker’s care and curiosity in exploring history, he described Ranabaali as a film offering something of serious academic interest. His recommendation brings added attention to a film that combines compelling performances, music, and a historical narrative intended to take audiences beyond familiar textbook accounts.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film has been presented by Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar and T-Series Films and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. The film enjoying great occupancy and team will be visiting theatres from today.
