Sandeep Vanga Promises a 'Bigger and Wilder' Sequel to Blockbuster 'Animal'

Vanga, who rose to fame with the Telugu movie 'Arjun Reddy' (later remade in Hindi as 'Kabir Singh'), has a history of making statements and following through on them. When critics slammed 'Kabir Singh' for its portrayal of a toxic relationship, Vanga promised to deliver something even wilder.

True to his word, 'Animal', released in December 2023, pushed boundaries with its violence and exploration of a complex father-son dynamic. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor, was a box office success but also sparked debates for its alleged misogyny.
