Sandeep Vanga Hits Back At Kiran Rao's Comments On 'Animal'!

Whatever Sandeep Reddy Vanga makes, it becomes a sensation. His movies push you and challenges you in every aspect. He creates huge debates across the nation. You either love him and his movies or hate him. There is no middle ground and that is what makes him quite special among the current crop of directors. His last film 'Animal' split people as many bashed it for being toxic, regressive, psychotic, violent and many more but it is also a fact that the movie collected more than 900 crores at the box office.

The movie is out on Netflix and it is getting even more bashing from celebs and critics. But it got 20.8 million views in the first three days of streaming and topped the charts in 16 countries. Aamir Khan's ex-wife criticised 'Animal' by saying that it is misogynistic and fostered hatred and harassment against women in the film. She also included 'Kabir Singh' and 'Baahubali' in this list. Looks like Sandeep Reddy Vanga did not take it well.

During a recent interview with Dainik Bhaskar, he said, “One of my ADs saw that article today and spoke to me. Main kehna chahunga uss aurat ko ke jaake Aamir Khan ko pucho 'Khambe jaisi khadi hai, Ladki hai ya fuljari hai' woh kya tha? Then come back to me. This is, matlab, is you remember Dil, almost rape attempt tak leke jaake usko ehsaas jatata hai ki isne galat kiya. Aur usko pyar ho jata hai. Yeh sab kya hai? (I would like to say to that woman, 'Go ask Aamir Khan, 'Is she like a pillar, a girl, or a firecracker?' What was that? Then come back to me. If you remember Dil, he almost takes the situation to an attempted rape, and it makes her realise that she was wrong. And she falls in love. What is all this?) I don't know why they attack like that before checking the surroundings.”

Team 'Animal' has not even spared a single known critic ever since its release. They have given strong replies to each and everyone on social media or during interviews till date.
