Prabhas Vs Chiru Vs Venky: Big Fight For Next Festival?

The Sankranthi of 2026 has become very fruitful for Tollywood, though one or two movies failed to click. While Megastar’s Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu hit the roof, the likes of Anaganana Oka Raju and Nari Nari Naduma Murari have done reasonably well. But then, Raja Saab ended up as a major disappointment. However, the films proved that Tollywood can collect more than ₹700-800 crores easily in the Sankranthi season.

Owing to this finding, Tollywood is now getting ready to plan its Sankranthi 2027 as well. Reports are coming up that Prabhas’ next release, director Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauzi, is all set to take the next Pongal. At the same time, Chiranjeevi’s next film, to be directed by KS Bobby, is also targeting the same season. At the same time, director Anil Ravipudi next, most likely with Venkatesh, will also target the same season.

Surely some other films will join the race of Sankranthi 2027, but the stars that have all cracked the code in 2026, joining the race for the next year is very interesting. While some of the releases might alter the plans based on the way they wrap up the shooting, other post-production works. If all these films come, next time it is going to be a huge fight at the Telugu box office.
