Movie titles this Sankranthi are stretching like chewing gum, long, sticky, and making you pause to actually finish reading. Usually, Telugu films keep it short and punchy, like Jack, Kubera, Peddi, or Dacoit. But this year… well, it seems filmmakers decided: why stop at a few words when you can fit half a paragraph on the poster?

First up is Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. Yep, that’s the full title. It stars Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, and Daggubati Venkatesh in a cameo. Directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments, it’s a family entertainer for Sankranthi 2026. From what we hear, it’s packed with laughs, drama, and some of those heartwarming moments you watch with your whole family. The long title kind of matches the big-star energy, doesn’t it?

Then there’s Anaganaga Oka Raju, starring Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshi Chaudhary. Directed by Maari, with music by Mickey J. Meyer., it’s a fantasy-adventure romance coming out on January 14, 2026.

Other entries include Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi (#BMW), set for Sankranthi 2026, and Nari Nari Naduma Murari, a comedy-romance starring Sharwanand, Sakshi Vaidya, and Samyuktha Menon, releasing November 16, 2025.

People are wondering, is this long-title trend because last year’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam went crazy at the box office, or is it just for fun? Either way, it’s clear: this Sankranthi, the longer the title, the better the curiosity.
