Sankranthiki Vasthunnam to Premiere on TV Before OTT

The latest Telugu blockbuster Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has taken the box office by storm. Starring Venkatesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Aishwarya Rajesh, this family entertainer is directed by Anil Ravipudi. Fans eagerly waiting for the OTT release were met with unexpected news.

ZEE which owns the film’s OTT and satellite rights recently announced that the movie will have its world television premiere first on Zee Telugu. This decision has surprised many as the OTT release will be delayed. The makers are prioritizing TV audiences with the OTT release date yet to be announced.

This has already proven to be a major success. According to reports, it was produced with a budget of ₹50 crores. In comparison, its earnings have reached ₹178 crores, resulting in a profit of ₹128 crores. Using the formula ‘ROI/Budget 100 = ROI%’, the movie has achieved an impressive return of 256%.

Apart from the lead actors, the film features Naresh, Srinivas Avasarala, Revanth, and VTV Ganesh in key roles. Produced by Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the movie has a hit soundtrack by Bheems Ceciroleo.
