Thalapathy Vijay – Jana Nayagan

Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited film Jana Nayagan was originally planned for a Sankranthi 2025 release. However, due to censor-related issues, the makers decided to postpone the release. The delay meant that Vijay’s film had to say farewell to the Sankranthi race. Fans were disappointed, as this movie was expected to be a festival treat and also seen as Vijay’s last film.

Prabhas – Raja Saab

Prabhas’ Raja Saab stood out as a unique film in the Sankranthi season. This movie is a big experiment for Prabhas as it marks his first full-length comedy entertainer. Directed by Maruthi, the film created curiosity among fans and family audiences. Prabhas trying comedy after many action heavy roles became a major talking point. Many believe that Raja Saab could attract a wide audience if the humor works well.

Naveen Polishetty – Anaganaga Oka Raju

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, who is well known for making family-friendly festival films, this movie was expected to attract family audiences.
