Tragic Accident Leads To Stuntman's Death On 'Sardar 2' Sets!

After the blockbuster success of 'Sardar', Tamil hero Karthi started filming for 'Karthi 2' recently. But a tragic accident took place on the sets which led to the demise of a stuntman named Ezhumalai. The makers are canning a high-voltage action sequence and the stuntman lost his balance which led to him falling down from 20 meters above.

This unfortunate accident happened in Prasad Studios located in Saligramam of Chennai. The police officers are looking into the accident and reports suggest that Ezhumalai passed away due to internal hemorrhage which was caused due to the major injuries he sustained from the fall. The shooting was stopped immediately and it left everyone on the sets completely shell-shocked.

The movie's unit offered their condolences and it is to be seen when this film resumes once again. The movie is being made on a grand budget and PS Mithran is directing it. 'Sardar 2' has Ashika Ranganath playing the female lead while Raashi Khanna was the heroine in the first past. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer for 'Sardar 2' and Prince Pictures are bankrolling it.

A lot of stuntmen have lost their lives or got severely injured on the sets before. We all know, that the shooting of 'Indian 2' was halted for months due to a big accident that led to a few members of the crew dying. 'Sardar 2' is one of the most-awaited projects but recovering from such a sad incident is not easy.
