Sequel Confirmed for Karthi's Blockbuster Film

Karthi and Mithran's blockbuster film Sardar is all set to have a sequel, confirmed during the success meet of the film last year. The makers showcased a clip from the end of Sardar, announcing that the story will continue in Sardar Part 2. Excitingly, the sequel's pre-production work has already begun, and there are rumors that filming might commence this year.

The latest update reveals a change in the music department, with Yuvan Shankar Raja possibly taking over as the music composer for Sardar 2, replacing GV Prakash, who composed for the first installment.

This will mark the third collaboration between PS Mithran and Yuvan, who previously worked on films like Irumbu Thirai and Hero. The sequel will feature Karthi in his dual roles as Chandra Bose, aka Sardar, and his son Vijay Prakash.

The film's plot revolves around the dynamic relationship between an ex RAW agent and his dutiful yet publicity-hungry police officer son. The original movie also featured Chunky Panday as the main antagonist, while Raashii Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan played the female leads, with Laila in a crucial role.

Although the other cast and crew details are yet to be announced, fans are eagerly anticipating an official update from the makers. As the excitement builds, viewers can look forward to a compelling continuation of the thrilling story in Sardar Part 2.
