All Hopes On The 2nd Half Of 2024! Will It Be Worth?

Four months have passed by in 2024 and we are halfway into the summer season. Barring the Sankranti season, none of the big heroes have arrived yet. Only Mahesh Babu released his 'Guntur Karam' in January and all the other releases till date were either mid-range films or small-budget movies. There won't be any big releases in the next two months as well.

The summer season is going to be very dull but it is just the first half that is going to be a disappointment. Starting from June, there is going to be a flurry of crazy projects arriving in theatres. Trade experts are predicting that the second half of 2024 is going to be a blockbuster one. We usually see one or two big-budget star hero films in summer. But the elections, IPL, and lack of planning made the films to stay away from this season. There were a few delays in the production of big films which made the makers go to the second half of 2024.

Everything starts with 'Kalki'. It got postponed from 9th May and sources say that it is going to either released this May or June. Kamal and Shankar's 'Indian 2' is also going to arrive in June. The release date will be out soon. The much-awaited 'Pushpa 2' will hit the screens on 15th August. The combo of Sukumar-Bunny-DSP are arriving together once again. Pawan's 'OG' is releasing on 27th September and Nani's 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' is releasing on 29th August. There is a big chance that Shankar and Ram Charan's 'Game Changer' might get released in September as well.

NTR's 'Devara 1' will be hitting the screens on 10th October and Balayya's film with Bobby is also going to arrive during the Dasara season. Also, there are dubbing films like 'GOAT' from Vijay and Venkat Prabhu, 'Kanguva' from Suriya and Shiva, 'Thangalaan' from Vikram, Rajnikanth's 'Vettaiyan' and others releasing as well. It is going to be a non-stop feast for the movie lovers.
