Why Security Cover Was Granted To Shah Rukh Khan?

Shah Rukh Khan is a name that needs no introduction. He is one of the top stars in the country and enjoys an unmatched following. His charisma is such that even a few Hollywood stars admire him. This speaks volumes about his stardom and massive popularity outside India.

Now King Khan is in the news for an unwanted reason. The media reports say that Shah Rukh Khan received threats which made him reach the state government for security. Following this, the government is said to have granted a security cover of Y+.

Shah Rukh Khan is banking high on the success of Pathaan and Jawan. Following the success of both films, the star is said to be receiving threats. When the actor approached the government on the threats, a security cover was granted to him.

Media reports say that the actor had taken the issue to the notice of the Maharashtra government saying that a few threats were issued. Looking into this a security cover was granted to the actor.

Y+ security cover is one of the biggest security covers and under the category armed security will be [protecting the star. He is not the first one in the Bollywood industry to get the security cover.

Earlier Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan and actress Kangana Ranaut were given security. However, Kangana Ranaut was granted the security cover after she had issues with the previous Maharashtra government led by Uddhav Thackeray.
