Sekhar Kammula Plans 'Leader 2' & Wants Only That Hero!

Director Sekhar Kammula made a mark for himself in Tollywood with his sensible films. He came at a time when filmmakers were carving out run-of-the-mill commercial entertainers and gave the audience something refreshing. He gave us breezy romantic entertainers with relatable characters, simple scenes and touching drama. Whether it is 'Happy Days' or 'Godavari' or 'Anand' or 'Fidaa' or 'Love Story', his signature is all over those films.

He is currently making a bilingual movie titled 'Kubera' with Dhanush as the lead actor. Nagarjuna is playing a key part in this movie as well. It is a multi-starrer that is being made on a grand budget and Suniel Narang along with Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are producing this movie under Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP banner. Devi Sri Prasad is giving the music and the title glimpse generated a huge response all over.

Speaking to the media recently on the occasion of 'Happy Days' re-release, he revealed his plans of making a sequel of 'Leader 2'. He says that 'Happy Days' is fresh even today and explained that his plans of making a sequel to it did not work out. He revealed that there is a plan to make a sequel for 'Leader' and promised that he would make it only with Rana Daggubati.

He claimed that it takes time. 'Leader' revolved around the 1 lakh crore black money which the Chief Minister tries to use it for good. Sekhar Kammula claimed that the situation is even worse today as the corruption grew bigger. Let us wait and see if it happens or not.
