From the first poster to the latest trailer, every update from the film has created excitement among movie lovers. The film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on December 25. Ahead of the release, Aadi Saikumar interacted with the media on December 23, which also happens to be his birthday, and shared many interesting details about the film.
Speaking about the buzz around Shambhala, Aadi said, “Shambhala has turned out really well. I’m confident the audience will like our film. I believe everyone will enjoy watching it.” He expressed strong faith in the content and felt the audience would connect with the story.
Talking about the competition at the box office on December 25, Aadi maintained a positive tone. He said, “Christmas and December 25 are a great season for films. We share a very good bonding with Srikanth garu’s family. I sincerely wish his film Champion also becomes a big hit.” He made it clear that healthy competition is always good for cinema.
On the strong response to the film’s promotional content, Aadi said, “From the moment the first still was released, the buzz started building. The teaser and trailers launched by Dulquer garu, Prabhas garu, and Nani garu received an excellent response.” He added that the team is confident about the film’s success.
Talking about the action sequences and costumes, Aadi explained, “Shambhala has some stunning action sequences. Raj Kumar Master worked closely with director Ugandhar. The climax action sequence is going to be a real highlight.” He also mentioned that since the story is set in the 1980s, the costumes were chosen very carefully.
About the film’s music and VFX, Aadi said, “There aren’t too many VFX shots, but whatever we have done was executed very carefully.” He praised music director Sricharan Pakala, saying, “His background score takes the film to the next level. After watching the movie, everyone will definitely talk about the background music.”
Sharing his thoughts on mythology and the title, Aadi said, “No one really knows whether Shambhala truly exists or not, but it has a strong identity in our mythology.”When asked about injuries during shooting, he revealed, “I had a minor injury during a fire sequence. Injuries during action scenes are quite common.”
On theatre experience versus OTT, Aadi strongly stated, “Films like Shambhala can truly be enjoyed only when watched in theatres.” He added that the producers spared no expense and promoted the film on a large scale.
Talking about director Ugandhar, Aadi said, “He is extremely passionate about cinema and worked very hard on this story.” He also confirmed plans for a Hindi version, saying, “We’re also planning a Hindi release after positive talk.”
On the possibility of a sequel, Aadi smiled and said, “If the audience makes Shambhala a hit, we’ll definitely plan Part 2.”
