Here’s Why Sharwanand A “Golden Leg” For Sankranthi

Other day hero Sharwanand made some interesting comments at the success meet of Nari Nari Naduma Murari, as he stated that his presence in the Sankranthi race is likely to give ‘blockbuster’ status to all the movies.

“Whenever I’ve joined the Sankranthi race, if you could notice, all the movies do well. So it’s important for the Telugu Film Industry to lock me a slot for Sankranthi, such that all the movies will ring in the registers,” said Sharwa, splitting the stage into laughs. The actor felt that his presence was a lucky charm, the golden leg in the race that helps everyone.

Back in 2016, films like Nannaku Prematho, Soggade Chinni Nayana, Dictator, and Express Raja were released on Sankranthi eve, and all of them scored well at the Box Office. Coming to 2017, Khaidi No 150, Gautamiputra Satakarni, and Satamanam Bhavathi were released together, and all of them did amazingly well in the Telugu states.

And now in 2026, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, Raja Saab, Bharta Mahaseyulaku Wignyapthi, Anaganaga Oka Raju, Nari Nari Naduma Murari have released, and most of them are doing reasonably well. That’s the Sankranthi sentiment that Sharwanand reiterated and saying that he has booked a slot for next Sankranthi as well, as he announced Sreenu Vaitla’s movie to lock Sankranthi 2027 release date.
