Why Is Sharwanand Still Not Rushing To Promotions?

Hero Sharwanand’s latest outing, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, has quietly turned into one of the most delayed films in the upcoming Sankranthi 2026 race. Initially planned for a March 2025 release, the film is now almost eight months behind schedule, finally locking the competitive Sankranthi season as the release window.

Despite the festive date being confirmed and competition heating up, many are wondering why Sharwanand is quite silent on the promotional point.

With the likes of Anil Ravipudi & Co for #MegaMSG, Prabhas and his heroines for Raja Saab, Naveen Polishetty for Ananganaga Oka Raju promoting their ventures big time, Sharwanand could be seen nowhere.

There are hardly any interviews, public appearances, or aggressive marketing moves from the lead actor or his team so far, which is unusual for a Sankranthi release. Nari Nari Naduma Murari has already lost its sheen due to multiple postponements, and this lack of promotional activity might further kill the intention of Sankranthi movie-goers to watch the film.

At this moment, Nari Nari Naduma Murari feels quite under-represented with a lack of promotions, and the team might utilise the good first two weeks of January to get most at theatres. Though Sankranthi will give natural footfalls even without promotions, looking around other players in the race, that will not be a good idea.
