Janhvi’s BF Shikhar Slams ‘Pathetic’ Caste Remark!

Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor’s rumored boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, found himself at the center of a shocking casteist remark after sharing a heartfelt Diwali post about righteousness and gratitude. Shikhar, usually one to ignore negativity, didn’t hold back this time. A user commented, “Lekin tu toh Dalit hai (But, you’re a Dalit),” attempting to reduce a festival of light and unity to a regressive slur. In response, Shikhar fired back, calling out the backward mindset of the troll. “It’s pathetic that in 2025, people like you still exist,” he wrote. “Diwali stands for progress and inclusivity concepts clearly beyond your intellect. India’s strength lies in its diversity, something you fail to grasp. The only thing truly ‘untouchable’ here is your level of thinking.”

Coming from a prominent political family, Shikhar is no stranger to public scrutiny. His grandfather, Sushilkumar Shinde, served as India’s Home Minister, and his mother, Smruti Shinde, is an actress. His brother, Veer Pahariya, recently made his Bollywood debut in Sky Force alongside Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, but Shikhar has no aspirations for a film career. Despite this, his personal life continues to make headlines, especially due to his relationship with Janhvi Kapoor.

While Janhvi has yet to react to the controversy, she remains busy with her upcoming films, RC16 alongside Ram Charan and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
