Shiva Nirvana Thrashes Those Rumours!

The promotions of 'Khushi' are in full swing. Barring Samantha who is in New York, rest of the team members are busily promoting the movie. Vijay Deverakonda toured a lot of cities while the trailer got a very good response. The songs were a super hit and the film's writer and director Shiva Nirvana is also interacting with the media.

After looking at the trailer, many people started circulating that the movie is close to Samantha's personal life. However, Shiva Nirvana quashes those rumours as he revealed that he wrote the story of 'Khushi' three years ago. He said, "I've very good bond with her. I worked with her for Majili. I had thought she would be the best actress for the role and she came onboard. You will see vintage Samantha in the film. Sam as Aaradhya nailed with her acting."

Shiva Nirvana added that both Vijay and Samantha are a treat to watch on the big screen. Talking about Samantha's health issues, he told, "nitially when she was diagnosed, she had thought it would be cured quickly. She had thought she would overcome it easily and join the shooting in a couple of days. She didn't know it would take months. She is a very strong women and she overcame this phase."

Talking about the movie, he said, "Kushi has a fun love story. The post-marriage story gets very interesting. It deals with some sensible issues. The film has strong under-current emotion. Sarada was one of the few titles which we considered for VD and Sam's Kushi. But to have a title which is the same in all languages, we opted for Kushi. The name means happiness in all the languages."

Talking about writing the lyrics for all the songs, he said, "Writing lyrics for all the songs happened while I was having music sitting with the music director Hesham. I have given some lyrics and he composed the tune. The songs were composed in less time due to this. The process we both have enjoyed and the whole team have liked it. I've huge respect for all the lyric-writers."
