'Kalki 2898 AD' is running successfully in theatres with packed crowds. The movie minted 191.5 crores worldwide on the first day and it is expected to cross the 500 crore mark easily by the end of this weekend. The visual spectacle has swept everyone off their feet and Nag Ashwin is getting a lot of praise for his stellar vision.

Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama turned out to be one of the highlights of the movie. We have seen that he stays inside a Shiva temple which is buried in sand. Though the makers built a huge set to give a cinematic look, the exterior and the basic structure is very similar to the Shiva temple located in the Nellore district.

A few social media personnel have taken the video of this temple and posted it on social media. It is now trending all over and a travel vlogger said, “This is the Shiva temple seen in the movie Kalki (in the Ashwathama entry).. The temple is located on the banks of the Penna River in Perumallapuram, Nellore District.. This temple built 300 years ago fell into the sand due to the Penna flood.. Two years ago the villagers found this temple again.”

The movie also featured a stellar cast of Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and actors like Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan in special roles. Ashwini Dutt is the producer while Santosh Narayanan is the music composer. The cinematic universe of Kalki is going to continue and fans can't wait to see more from this world.
