Shobita: “I Need Not Be Seen 24 Hours In Public”

At a time when Bollywood actors, some Tollywood actors, and their PR stunts are getting widespread attention, here comes Telugu actress Shobita Dhulipala, who has openly spoken about her decision not to indulge in the PR game and how.

Currently going high with the success of her Amazon Prime original film Cheekatlo, Shobita Dhulipala is going places for sure. While sharing her thoughts with the Bollywood media regarding this movie, she was asked about the kind of PR she maintains. “Actually, I don’t want to be seen in public for 24 hours. To get such PR, we have to be in the public eye and get every move covered. That’s something I don’t want to do,” says Shobita, indirectly indicating how the Bollywood PR culture is so hectic and strong.

“I’m not from Mumbai, but from a small town, and have grown up in the industry on my own. Want to keep it that way rather than doing it through PR. But some do, and they are happy with it,” she further said, Shobita, regarding the PR acts of Bollywood.

Meanwhile, she felt happy for acting in Cheekatilo, saying that she had dubbed her lines so efficiently, as it happens to be her mother tongue (Telugu), in which she could dub flawlessly.
