Shraddha Kapoor Suffers Injury, Forces Immediate Shoot Shutdown

Shraddha Kapoor has been juggling way too many storms lately. First the whole Dawood-linked drug syndicate chatter, then people accusing her jewellery brand of copying design, and of course those old fights about film credits popping up again. She finally tried slipping back into her normal routine, just minding her work, but nope, life had other plans.

She was shooting for Eetha, a film about the iconic Tamasha legend Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar. Shraddha had been training hard, especially for the Lavani sequences. And during one of those shoots, while dancing to an Ajay–Atul track, she shifted her weight a little wrong, and that was it. A sharp slip, a bad twist, and bam, fractured toe on her left foot.

The director immediately called for a break, but Shraddha didn’t want to slow things down. Typical her. She somehow kept going for a couple more days, only doing close-up emotional bits because even walking hurt. But the pain kept poking harder, and everyone around her could see she was struggling.

Finally, the team decided enough is enough. They paused the shoot for two full weeks to let her recover properly. Most of the remaining scenes need her full movement and energy anyway.
