Dad Kamal & Uncle Rajni’s Movie? Not Doing It

From her role as heroine in Prabhas’ Salaar to that of her crucial character in Rajnikanth’s Coolie, to that of her item number in Peddi, diva Shruti Haasan is always a stunner of sorts. She’s been doing different films in different tinsel towns and continues to be part of the ongoing social media discussions. Talk is that she’s now joining hands with Superstar Rajnikanth again, this time, in a film where her dad Kamal Haasan is also part of. So, what’s cooking with that film?

Apparently, Shruti Haasan has broken her silence on being featured in #KHxRK movie, which is being directed by ace director Nelson, who is carving out Rajnikanth’s Jailer 2 already. Breaking down the rumours, Shruti commented that she’s not part of the film. “Though I’ve met Appa and Rajnikanth sir recently, I’m not part of this film. I’m just waiting to see the magic Nelson Sir will carve out,” said Shruti Haasan, speaking to Tamil media the other day. That means there are no more rumours that could be spread regarding her presence in the movie.

At the same time, Shruti stated that she became a huge Rajnikanth fan after acting alongside the Superstar in Coolie movie, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and fared average at the box office. On the other hand, Shruti has a handful of movies like Salaar 2 and other biggies in Telugu, Tamil and others. However, she needs a big blockbuster to her credit at the moment to continue her stardom at 40 years of age.
