Siddhu J Wearing Akhil Akkineni’s Fantasy Shoes?

Today, it was announced by Sithara Entertainment that they are making a fantasy film with their lucky hero Siddhu Jonnalagadda, under the direction of newcomer Anil Kumar. They have announced that the film will be a fantasy entertainer. While the movie is creating buzz, it’s now coming out that if we dig into the history files a bit, this is a project that many heroes heard about, but the producers haven’t greenlit it.

Director Anil Kumar was earlier supposed to direct a film titled “Dheera”, with Akhil Akkineni in the lead role, for the production house UV Creations. The director has earlier worked as an associate for Saaho and OG. Initially, this subject was even narrated to Ram Charan, but the star hero asked for lots of changes and then he’s said to have suggested Akhil’s name for the project. It’s being said that while UV Creations stopped that film due to budget issues, now Sithara has taken up the same project.

Many are wondering if a big production house like UV Creations thought that this film would be an overburdened if invested in Akhil, would Sitara Entertainment make that ‘costly’ mistake by putting Siddhu Jonnalagadda in Akhil’s shoes? However, some insiders are saying that the storyline was altered and the film will now have less VFX and fewer shoot days compared to earlier.
