Star Cameos To Save High-Budgeted VFX Project

Despite being backed by a successful production house and big names, the career of Akkineni Nagarjuna’s nephew, Sumanth, always goes up and down. He has delivered some terrific movies like Satyam and Malli Raava, but at the same time failed to capitalize on interesting conceptual movies. Currently, he is busy with a bunch of movies, however.

Apart from the web-film “Newton’s 3rd Law” whose trailer got released the other day, Sumanth is doing a film titled “Mahendragiri Vaarahi” whose glimpse has come out earlier. The film crossed almost ₹15 to 20 crores budget already, as per reports, and got delayed for the same reason. It is now coming out that hero Siddhu Jonnalagadda and starlet Keerthy Suresh are doing cameos in this project, such that the OTT buzz will be doubled.

No doubt, the presence of supportive casting and big names will bring in huge digital streaming and satellite rights too. However, these days people are not getting excited about cameos unless those roles are presented with some thunder. So hope that both Siddhu and Keerthy get a meaty role, even if it lasts for 5 minutes, such that Sumanth’s movie could fetch the benefits.
