“If middle finger was a man…” That one line tells you everything you need to know about Badass. Sidhu Jonnalagadda lights up the screen, literally and metaphorically, in a first look that’s more of a statement than a poster. This isn’t the Sidhu we know from Tillu. This is rougher, louder, and far less polite. Ravikanth Perepu, who earlier teamed up with him for Krishna and His Leela, is back in the director’s chair. But this time, they’re not playing safe.

The mood is different. The tone, sharper. Sidhu’s not just acting in this one, he’s co-writing it too, along with Ravikanth. And the change in energy is obvious. The usual boyish charm is replaced by grit and heat. The poster shows a man surrounded by chaos, lighting a smoke, unfazed. Cameras, crowd, noise, he’s still the one in control.

Backed by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, this film doesn’t feel like it’s chasing trends. It’s doing its own thing. The production looks big by Naga Vamsi as usual, along with Sai Soujanya. The attitude is loud, but not desperate. Most importantly, it doesn’t look like it’s trying to please. The team knows the tone, and they’re sticking to it.

Forget heroes, villains, and formulas. Badass looks like it's here to punch through the usual and not apologise for it. No clean image, no moral high ground, just a character that walks into a room and dares you to look away. And in a time when everything feels like a remix, that’s enough to turn heads.
