SIIMA Winners 2024: Allu Arjun did it again!

The prestigious SIIMA award for the year 2024 has been presented. The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) celebrate the best talents in South Indian cinema every year. In the Telugu film industry, the Best Actor Award has been given to some of the biggest stars since 2011.

It all began with Mahesh Babu winning in 2011 for Dookudu. The following year, in 2012, Pawan Kalyan received the award for his blockbuster Gabbar Singh. Mahesh Babu returned in 2013 with Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and again in 2015 with Srimanthudu. In 2014, the award went to Nandamuri Balakrishna for Legend.

In 2016, Jr. NTR made a strong mark by winning for both Nannaku Prematho and Janatha Garage. The year 2017 was memorable for Prabhas, who won for Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. In 2018, Ram Charan’s powerful performance in Rangasthalam earned him the award.

The later years saw tough competition. Mahesh Babu won again in 2019 for Maharshi. Allu Arjun dominated by winning three times 2020 for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, 2021 for Pushpa: The Rise, and 2024 for Pushpa: The Rule. Jr. NTR won in 2022 for RRR, and in 2023, Nani claimed the award for Dasara.

And for the year 2024, Allu Arjun has done it again for Pushpa 2. This is a pretty significant achievement for a superstar of his status.
