SIIMA Nominations: Why Devara Got Sidelined?

It is already known that one of the most prestigious film awards event SIIMA is happening soon. In connection with the same, several Telugu blockbuster films have been sent for entry in multiple categories for this awards event.

Interestingly enough, it is the second part of Pushpa, which is ahead of the line as the film has recorded the highest temper of nominations for any Telugu film. Reportedly, this film has 11 nominations in the final list, which is the highest for any Telugu film for the year 2024.

Considering the fact that the Allu Arjun film was one of the biggest blockbusters of all time in Indian cinema, it is expected to win multiple awards at the event. Then we have Kalki, which had 10 nominations followed by Hanuman, which also had 10 nominations.

While it is good to see these Telugu blockbusters have so many nominations at the awards event. It must also be noted that there is this one particular film got brutally ignored.

The film and discussion here is none other than Devara, which was also one of the biggest blockbusters of the year 2024. NTR delivered a solid film after RRR with Devara and the reflected in the box office, his performance of the film as well. However, this film did not find the place in the list of Telugu films with the highest nominations.

Another star Hero film Guntur Kaaram was also blatantly ignored on this list as it also did not have too many nominations going its way.
