STR Becomes The 1st Tamil Hero To Help Flood Victims In Telugu States!

A lot of people across the Telugu states were heavily affected by the heavy rains. The floods caused a lot of damage to the livelihood of people and many Tollywood celebrities starting from Megastar Chiranjeevi himself to a small heroine like Ananya Nagalla have contributed to the relief funds. All of them showed their generosity and some of them even got onto the field to help the affected.

But none of the actors from other industries have come forward to help the people in Telugu states. We saw Telugu and Tamil heroes donating money to help people in Kerala during the recent landslide but none of the actors from other film industries contributed in helping the people in Telugu states which shocked many.

It is Tamil hero SilambarasanTR who is the first Tamil hero to donate money to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Called Simbu by his fans, he contributed Rs 6 lakhs and extended his support to the flood-affected Telugu States. The noble gesture by Simbu shows his love and gratitude towards the Telugu people.

Simbu is a name well known for his interesting films in the early 2000s. He bounced back with 'Maanadu' and it was dubbed as 'Loop' in Telugu which got good appreciation. Simbu is a very talented singer who sings numerous songs in Tamil. He even sang Telugu songs like 'Diamond Girl' in NTR's 'Baadshah', 'Bujji Pilla' from 'Potugaadu', 'Bullet Song' from 'The Warrior' and others. He is currently working on some crazy projects which include Kamal and Mani Ratnam's 'Thug Life'.
