Simran Bagga Opens Up About Her Crush on Rajinikanth

Actor Simran Bagga has revealed she has long admired superstar Rajinikanth. While promoting his upcoming film Coolie, she recalled moments from their time on the sets of Petta. Simran said she would often sit quietly in a corner just to watch him without being noticed. She also praised his look in Coolie, calling the 74-year-old �like fire� in the promos.

Speaking to the media, she shared her excitement for the film and wished him success. She remembered how, even during busy shoots, she would find a spot to simply admire him from afar. Her words reflected both professional respect and personal fondness for the actor she had worked with before.

In a 2019 interview, Simran described Rajinikanth as humble, simple, and larger than life. She called him her �superhero,� saying he held that place in her heart long before fictional heroes like Iron Man or Spider-Man. She expressed gratitude for acting alongside him in Petta.

Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, releases on August 14, 2025. The film stars Rajinikanth with Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, and Upendra in key roles, and Aamir Khan in a special appearance. It will hit theatres alongside War 2, setting up a major box office clash this Independence Day weekend.
