If Singeetham Scores Hit, Tollywood Learns A Lesson

The announcement of director Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao, the legendary filmmaker who has carved moves like Pushpaka Vimanam, Vichitra Sodharlu, Bhairava Dweepam, and Aditya 369, has made many movie lovers admire him. Because at the age of 94, the director is going to carve out his upcoming film.

If Singeetham makes the film talked about and also a blockbuster, then that is going to teach Tollywood a lesson of giant proportions. In general, directors who have crossed their prime in Tollywood and who have reached 60 years of age usually make films that make no sense. Many star directors of yesteryear made senseless films after crossing 60 years. However, Singeetham carved out something like Bhairava Dweepam at the age of 60.

Cut to the present, Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, in his 90s, is coming up with a movie, and if he impresses the audience in the likes of a Pushpak, Vichitra Sodarulu, and Aditya 369, surely he will teach a lesson to seniors about how to think and execute a film. Because in Hollywood, irrespective of age, directors in their 80s deliver Oscar-winning movies too. If Singeetham could show the way to Indian filmmakers in that aspect, definitely that would be a befitting lesson for all to learn.
