THIS Natural Star Suffering To Get Telugu Market
Just like Nani who came without a background and enjoys a strong position in Tollywood with his natural acting, Siva Karthikeyan has built a similar reputation in Kollywood.

Over the last few years, he has emerged as one of Tamil cinema's most bankable stars with a loyal fan following and several successful films. His natural acting style, family-friendly image, and entertaining performances have helped him become a favorite among audiences.
However, things are not as smooth for Siva Karthikeyan when it comes to the Telugu market. Even though his films and performances are appreciated by Telugu viewers, he has been facing repeated challenges in securing proper releases for his movies in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
His dubbed film Amaran performed well in Telugu despite facing strong competition. The success of the film showed that audiences are ready to watch his movies if they get a proper theatrical release. Unfortunately, many of his recent projects have struggled to find enough screens in Telugu states due to clashes with big local releases.
Now, his upcoming film Seyon is reportedly facing a similar issue. The movie was initially expected to release during the Diwali season, but reports suggest that the makers are considering a Sankranti 2027 release. While Sankranti is a lucrative festival period, it is also crowded with films starring major Telugu heroes. Competition from big-budget Telugu movies could make it difficult for Seyon to secure a wide release.
This is not the first time such a situation has occurred. Earlier, Parasakthi was released in Tamil Nadu but missed a simultaneous Telugu release because of theatre availability issues. Likewise, Ayalaan also failed to get the desired release in Telugu markets due to heavy competition.
Industry observers believe that repeated delays and limited releases may slow down Siva Karthikeyan's growth in Tollywood. Building a market outside one's home industry requires consistent visibility, and theatrical releases play a major role in that process.
Despite these challenges, expectations for Seyon remain high. The film reportedly features a powerful character for Siva Karthikeyan along with strong devotional and emotional elements. Fans hope the movie receives a proper Telugu release and helps the actor strengthen his presence in Tollywood. If that happens, Siva Karthikeyan could become one of the few Tamil stars to establish a solid and lasting market among Telugu audiences.
