Quick Updates On Ram Pothineni’s Debut Film

Ram Pothineni, the charming Tollywood hero who debuted as a leading man almost two decades ago, is now gearing up for the biggest experiment of his life. After many directors failed to give him the required success as he chose many commercial films, and illogical scripts that made sense on paper but not on screen, the actor has decided to give a ‘break’ to himself. He’s now coming up with a film through which he is debuting as a director too.

Recently, Ram has come up with the first look of the movie, saying that a lone wolf is getting ready to fight against the system. That more or less indicates that Ram is fighting like a lone wolf with the silver screen, and took the megaphone into his hands to give that success to himself. Quick update from the movie is that the makers are in talks with SJ Suryah, the most in-demand actor for negative roles these days. Though Ram had first thought of Fahadh Fassil, the Malayalam actor has quoted more than ₹10 crores as pay packet, and hence they backed off. Now, remuneration discussions are going on with SJ Surya, with this being the actor’s own production, produced by his younger brother.

At the same time, though the makers had initially thought of roping in Srinidhi Shetty as the leading lady, she wasn’t finalised yet. They are said to be looking for more popular options, who could be roped in at a competitive price, with Srinidhi said to be demanding more than ₹5 crores for the film. Well, Ram is doing the biggest experiment of his career now, as director, producer and a leading actor, hope all things get right.
