Teaser Talk: Seyon Is Siva Karthikeyan's Kantara

A man who is already reckless and yet powerful towards his people and has a commitment towards ethics, gets possessed by God, and then unleashes fury on his enemies. You�re thinking this is the story of �Kantara� in a nutshell, but that�s almost the story of Sivakarthikeyan�s upcoming film �Seyon� as well. Here�s the teaser for the film and let's see how is it doing.

The story unfolds over a night, as a fight breaks out at the divine Jathara, aka Maasi Kalari festival, at the Karumathur Virumandi Temple. Siva Karthikeyan is being portrayed as God itself, as people say that he�s possessed by God. While the visuals, the intense portrayals, the amazing Jathara vibe and the music scored by Santosh Narayan are intriguing, the SK�s look is also catching attention.

Director Sivakumar Murugesan has done a good job by choosing this divine theme, when the whole of South India is making similar movies now. However, the film�s teaser has vibes of Vikram�s Veera Dheera Sooran in some aspects, and otherwise, it looks like the hero Siva Karthikeyan made a nice choice. Moreover, the film is produced by Kamal Haasan, so we have to see how it works in theatres. Seyon is hitting cinemas in October 2026.
