The much-anticipated collaboration between director Boyapati and actor Ram Pothineni has proven to be a jackpot, yielding substantial returns even before hitting theaters. The action-packed drama "Skanda" has secured impressive non-theatrical deals that have set a new precedent for the duo.

Producer Srinivasaa Chitturi has inked a remarkable Rs 45 crore deal with the Disney/Hotstar conglomerate, a staggering sum for Boyapati and Ram Pothineni. The film's pan-Indian appeal has spurred its marketing as it readies for release in all five major Indian languages.

This strategy, similar to the duo's previous venture "Akhanda," which garnered record views on Hotstar, influenced the hefty investment. Additionally, the film's Hindi dubbing rights fetched an impressive Rs 35 crore due to Ram Pothineni's consistently strong foothold in the Hindi dubbing market.

Notably, the movie has raked in Rs 5 crore from the sale of digital music streaming rights, further boosting its earnings. While the theatrical deals also look promising, producer Srinivasaa Chitturi, having faced setbacks with prior films like "Warriorr" and "Custody," could experience some hesitancy in traditional theatrical agreements.

The "Skanda" trailer's success has added to the film's buzz, showcasing Ram Pothineni as a robust hero combatting villains. Accompanying him is leading lady Sreeleela. However, Thaman's music, although well-regarded, hasn't yet made a significant impact. With these lucrative non-theatrical deals and robust pre-release earnings, Srinivasaa Chitturi is undoubtedly set to strike gold with "Skanda," cementing his financial success even before the movie's cinematic debut.
