SKN Says He Felt More Hurt Than Maruthi After The Raja Saab Setback

Producer SKN recently shared his feelings about The Raja Saab and spoke emotionally about director Maruthi's journey in the film industry. During a recent interaction, SKN said that he felt deeply disappointed when The Raja Saab did not achieve the expected result. He added that he was even more emotional than Maruthi because he had closely watched the director's hard work over the years.

SKN praised Maruthi's inspiring journey from humble beginnings to becoming a successful pan-India director. He said Maruthi started life by selling bananas on a roadside cart before entering the film industry. Seeing someone with such a background rise to great success made him feel proud and emotional.

He added that Maruthi received a wonderful opportunity to direct superstar Prabhas. He said getting a chance to work with a star like Prabhas is a dream for many filmmakers. If Maruthi had not accepted the project, several other directors would have been ready to take that opportunity. That is why he believes the project carried huge responsibility.

SKN also appreciated People Media Factory for placing their trust in Maruthi and supporting the film. He said the production house invested a lot of effort and confidence in the project. Because of this, the film's performance affected everyone who worked on it.

He explained that when talented people are given such big opportunities, everyone hopes for a successful outcome. So, when The Raja Saab failed to meet expectations, it was painful for him. He said he could understand the pressure Maruthi faced and the hard work behind the film.

Despite the disappointment, SKN expressed confidence in Maruthi's talent and said one film does not define a director's career. He believes Maruthi has already proved his abilities with several successful films and can bounce back with future projects.

Meanwhile, SKN is currently busy promoting Chennai Love Story, which he has produced. The film stars Kiran Abbavaram in the lead role. Special premiere shows were held today, and the movie is set for its regular theatrical release tomorrow.
