Producer SKN, who is known for backing successful content-based films like Taxiwala and Baby, is now getting ready to release his new film Chennai Love Story. The movie stars Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya in the lead roles. It is produced under the Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers banners by SKN and Sai Rajesh. Directed by Ravi Namburi, the film features music by Mani Sharma and is set to release on July 24.

Speaking about the film, SKN said, "Our lead characters are Telugu people who live in Chennai. That is the reason we named the film Chennai Love Story. After the success of Baby, audience expectations became very high. We did not want to rush our next project. We spent nearly a year selecting the right story. When Sai Rajesh narrated this script, we immediately believed it deserved to be made."

Talking about the release plans, he said, "Right now, our full focus is on the Telugu version. We are still deciding whether to release the Tamil version at the same time or after a short gap because many big Tamil films are arriving around the same period."

SKN praised Kiran Abbavaram's performance and said, "Kiran has shown a completely different side in this film. People have mostly seen him in youthful and mass roles. In Chennai Love Story, he has delivered a mature performance. I truly believe he deserves to be nominated for major awards this year. His passion for cinema impressed me throughout the shoot."

He also appreciated heroine Sri Gouri Priya. "Sai Rajesh's stories always have strong female characters. We wanted someone who could carry such an emotional role, and Sri Gouri Priya was the perfect choice. She has given an outstanding performance. The audience will remember her character for a long time."

Speaking about the story, SKN explained, "Baby was about first love, but Chennai Love Story celebrates second love. Not everyone succeeds in their first relationship, but life gives another chance. This film is not a tragic story. It is filled with emotions and hope."

The producer also revealed that the movie was shot in several beautiful locations. "We filmed in Chennai, Puducherry, Visakhapatnam, Chirala and a few other places. Some important scenes were shot near the Chennai Lighthouse and inside the Chennai Metro. We even waited for natural rain and sunrise to capture beautiful visuals because they add more emotion to the story."

Talking about the music, SKN said, "The moment Mani Sharma heard the story, he agreed to compose the music. His melodies are always beautiful, and every song in this film has meaningful lyrics written by Anantha Sriram. The music perfectly matches the emotions of the story."

He also praised director Ravi Namburi, saying, "Ravi has been with our team for a long time. He is a talented director and dialogue writer. Sai Rajesh always gives creative freedom to his team, and that is one of the reasons behind his success."

On promotions, SKN shared, "Coming from a media background, I know how important promotions are. We have worked hard to take this film to audiences across cities, towns and villages. The response has been very encouraging."

Speaking about controversies, he clarified, "Unlike some recent films that created debates, Chennai Love Story is not a controversial film. It is a pure emotional love story."

Finally, SKN expressed confidence about the film's success. "We are not increasing ticket prices because we want families and youngsters to watch the film comfortably. More than collections, we want more people to experience this story. I believe Chennai Love Story will receive widespread appreciation and create a special identity for our production banners, just like Baby did."
