"We Were Still Understanding This Mix": Sobhita on Life With Naga Chaitanya

Actress Sobhita Dhulipala has spoken about her married life with actor Naga Chaitanya and shared an interesting detail about their first year together. The actress revealed that their busy work schedules meant they could not spend much time with each other after their wedding.

Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya got married in December 2024 in a traditional Telugu wedding ceremony in Hyderabad. Their wedding was a private and special celebration attended by close family members and friends. Since then, fans have been interested in knowing more about their life together.

In a recent conversation with Vogue India, Sobhita explained that her professional commitments kept her away from home for a long period soon after the wedding. She travelled to Tamil Nadu for a film shoot and spent more than 150 days there.

Talking about that phase, Sobhita said, "Within a few weeks of being married in December 2024, I left to shoot in Tamil Nadu. I was there for over 150 days and in the first year of our marriage, I probably saw him maybe once a month."

She explained that the first year was mainly about understanding how to balance their personal life with their professional responsibilities. Both Sobhita and Chaitanya are actors and have demanding schedules, so spending enough time together was not always easy.

However, Sobhita feels that their relationship has become more settled in recent months. She said, "Now, in the past few months, we’re adapting to life. The one thing I know is we both prioritise what’s needed to keep the connection healthy."

The actress also revealed that she had never planned to marry another actor. She said she also did not expect to marry someone from her own state. However, she always wanted her wedding to include the cultural traditions she grew up with.

Sobhita said, "I didn’t think I would end up with someone who is an actor or from my state but I always wanted a wedding that had my culture’s nuances. It was part of the fantasy from when I was a child."

On the work front, Sobhita is currently associated with the Tamil film Vettuvam, while Naga Chaitanya is awaiting the release of Vrushakarma.
