Know More About Sobhita Dhulipala's Family Background!

With Akkineni Nagarjuna himself posting the engagement clicks of his son Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, the news went instantly viral. The rumors about them getting engaged have been doing rounds on the internet for the last day or two but everything has become official now. It was a closed ceremony with only the family members present and it happened in a traditional manner.

Whilst Sobhita Dhulipala is known for her acting roles in Telugu and Hindi films, people are curious to know more about her family. Going into details, Sobhita is the daughter of Venugopal Rao who was a Merchant Navy Engineer and Santha Kamkshi, a primary school teacher. Sobhita was born in Tenali but grew up in Vishakapatnam as her father worked in the Navy.

She later shifted to Mumbai at the age of 16 and studied various subjects like Economics, Commerce and Corporate Law in universities in Mumbai. Back in 2010, she won her first Beauty Pageant and it was an army event. She became Femina Miss India in 2013. She is trained in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi.

She made her acting debut with 'Raman Raghav 2.0' and did other Hindi projects like 'Chef' and 'Kaalakaandi' before entering Tollywood with 'Goodachari'. She did a few Malayalam films too like 'Moothon' and 'Kurup'. She was a part of Mani Ratnam's 'PS – 1' and 'PS – 2' as well. She did a key role in Sesh's super hit 'Major' and acted in the Hollywood film 'Monkey Man'. She was also seen in hit web series like 'Made In Heaven', 'Bard Of Blood' and 'The Night Manager'.
