Some people walk into a new space and instantly blend in like they were meant to be there. That’s what Sonakshi Sinha seems to be doing as she steps into Tollywood with Jatadhara, her first Telugu film alongside Sudheer Babu. The trailer dropped recently, and her intense role caught everyone’s eye. While promoting the movie, Sonakshi opened up about her time working in the Telugu industry, and honestly, she sounded both impressed and inspired.

She didn’t hold back when she said Bollywood should probably learn a thing or two from the South. For her, the biggest difference was discipline. Shoots here start at nine and wrap by six, no fuss, no chaos. That kind of time respect, she said, deserves a round of applause. Compared to the endless nights and stretched hours in Hindi film shoots, this change felt healthy and professional. She joked that Bollywood really needs to “take notes” if it wants a better work-life balance.

Talking about her experience, Sonakshi said she genuinely loved how everyone on set works in sync, calm, focused, and still full of energy. There’s no rushing, no shouting, just quiet efficiency. She said it reminded her that filmmaking doesn’t have to be stressful to be good. The discipline and respect people have for each other on set stood out to her more than anything.

In Jatadhara, Sonakshi plays Dhana Pishachi, a mysterious and intense role that’s already sparking curiosity. But beyond the movie, what’s winning hearts is how grounded and genuine she sounds when she talks about Tollywood. Her words feel real, not promotional, like someone who’s found a new rhythm and is enjoying every bit of it.
