Marvel's latest superhero film Spider-Man: Brand New Day is performing very well at the Indian box office. After a record-breaking opening day, the movie continued its strong run on the second day and is attracting large crowds across the country.

According to early trade reports, the film collected around Rs 49.35 crore net in India on its second day. With this, its two-day India net collection has reached nearly Rs 110 crore. The movie's India gross collection now stands at around Rs 131.46 crore, showing that audiences are enjoying the latest Spider-Man adventure.

The movie has also started strongly in the international market. Reports suggest that Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to earn between $167 million and $173 million worldwide during its opening period, including preview shows. This gives the film an excellent start at the global box office.

The film has received a positive response in different languages and formats. The English 3D version recorded very good occupancy, with more people watching the movie during evening and night shows. The Hindi 3D and English 2D versions also attracted a large number of moviegoers. Apart from English and Hindi, the film has also been released in Tamil and Telugu, helping it reach a wider audience across India.

Trade experts believe the weekend collections will be even stronger. If the current trend continues, the movie is expected to cross Rs 200 crore in India during its opening weekend. Despite competition from other big releases, the film has managed to maintain excellent box office performance.

The movie has already created history by beating the opening-day collections of several popular Hollywood films in India. It has performed better than Avatar: The Way of Water and also crossed the opening-day record of Avengers: Endgame, making it one of the biggest Hollywood releases in the country.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The film stars Tom Holland as Spider-Man along with Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, and Tramell Tillman. It is the fourth standalone Spider-Man film featuring Tom Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and continues the story after Spider-Man: No Way Home. With strong audience support and positive word of mouth, the film is expected to enjoy a successful run in the coming days.
